The specialized designer in this type is collaborated with the brand stakeholders to design the assets such as logo, typography, color palettes and image libraries representing the brand personality.
This is one of the most common type of design. Marketing and Advertising Graphic Design:
We all know the graphic designs are mostly created for the purpose of marketing and advertising. To tap into the customer’s decision making process, company depend on successful marketing efforts. Marketing designers work with the company owners, directors, managers or marketing profession to create assets for marketing strategy. These designers may work alone or with in-house creative departments.

Publication is the long form piece of information that is communicated through the public distribution. These are traditionally of print medium but recently there has been a significant rise in digital publishing.
Designers specialized in this type works with the editors and publishers to create layouts by carefully selecting typography with the related artwork which includes pictures, graphics and illustrations. These designers can work as freelancers or in-house as a part of publishing company.

Packaging Graphic Design:
Packaging of any product is the first thing that catches the eye of consumers. Packaging design directly communicates with the customers and hence it is one of the important marketing tools.
Packaging designers develop mockups, create concepts and print ready files for a product. These designers require top notch conceptual and problem solving skills with the strong knowledge of print and industrial design. These designers can work as jack of all trades or can specialize in a specific type of packaging (like labels or beverage cans) or specific industry (such as food industry or children toys etc).
Motion Graphic Design:
Motion graphics is simply explained as the graphics those are in motion such as animations, videos , images, audios, typography and other effects which are used in television, film and online media.
Motion graphic designing is the new speciality among the designers. It was formally reserved for television and films but as technological advances have reduced the production time and costs, this art form has become more accessible and affordable. This type of design can be now found on almost every social media and digital platforms which has created all sorts of new opportunities.

Environmental Graphic design:
These designs visually connect people to the places to improve their overall experiences by creating space memorable, interesting, informative or easier to navigate.
It is multidisciplinary practice that merges graphic, interior, architectural, landscape and industrial design. Designers collaborate with the people related to any of these fields to plan and implement the design.
Example: Signage, wall murals, museum exhibitions, office branding, public transport navigation, retail store interiors, stadium brandings etc.
Art and illustration for graphic design:
Graphic art and illustrations are different from graphic design. This sentence can be further understood as graphic designers create compositions to communicate and solve problems whereas graphic artists and illustrators create original works. Their art can be in for of fine arts or decoration or the storytelling illustrations.
These artists use any type of media and techniques to create their works. Graphic artist collaborate with writers, editors, managers, marketers, and art directors across all types of graphic designs. These artists usually have the foundation of fine arts, animation or architecture.
